Tomei Powered is putting extra effort forward into the United States Subaru Impreza Market. Several years ago they began researching the Subaru EJ engine, and today they offer several top notch products like this EJ20/25 un-equal length exhaust manifold.
Designed to fit models utilizing a single scroll turbocharger, it features an Un-Equal Length Design that has the shortest distance possible from the exhaust port to the turbo. This aspect increases overall response and allows the vehicle to retain the signature Subaru boxer sound. Welded areas are kept at a minimum, and this is pulled off by the exclusive services of a veteran pipe bending specialist combined with the lost wax process (thin stainless steel). Developing fractures and cracks are nearly impossible.
The main piping is at 42.7mm and the downpipe at 60mm. This setup maintains the torque while delivering the best overall performance gain.
Note: The EJ20/25 exhaust manifold requires to be wrapped with heat tape due to its placement near the oilpan. The heat tape is already included as well as all hardware for easy installation.
